Description

A striking mid century modern design art pottery vase by Crown Devon c1965.

It has an organic shape the very stylised jug form with loopy handle.

Decorated with a matte textured white glaze on the outside with a rich red colour inside. Hand painted with a simplified foliate pattern.

Marks –
Printed “Made in England Crown Devon” on the underside.
Moulded “1041 7in”

Condition –
Excellent. NO chips, cracks or restorations.
A little dirty
Vintage item with some but minimal evidence of use.
